General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: September 30, 2025

Preamble: Only the conditions mentioned below are applicable. Acceptance of the quote implies agreement to these general terms and conditions.

1. Characteristics of the goods and services offered

1.1 KRmatic offers a 3D printing and 3D design service for objects based on information provided by the client.

1.2 Objects 3D printed by KRmatic are divided into 3 categories:

  • Decorative object: Object for decorative purposes only. Not designed to undergo mechanical stress, frequent handling, or aggressive environmental conditions.
  • Model / prototype: Object likely to be handled frequently for demonstration purposes. Not designed to undergo mechanical stress or aggressive environmental conditions.
  • Functional use: Object intended to undergo mechanical stress, or depending on the chosen material, withstand aggressive environmental conditions (heat, humidity, UV exposure). The maximum allowable mechanical stresses in compression and tension will be provided in MPa.

1.3 KRmatic reserves the right to refuse an order for objects if it goes against public order or the intellectual property of a third party. Non-exhaustive examples: the creation of firearms, objects of a racist or pornographic nature, as well as any brand or character whose intellectual property rights are not held by the client.

1.4 The client acknowledges that projects and plans carried out by KRmatic are expressly protected by copyright, at every stage of the project (offer, preliminary design, or final plan). Plans remain the property of KRmatic until full payment of the invoice. However, the transfer of risk for the objects takes place at the time of delivery.

1.5 The client is entirely responsible for any errors that might slip into the digital file provided to KRmatic for 3D printing.

2. Prices

2.1 Prices used by KRmatic are always based on the current values of materials and services. If these undergo modifications, KRmatic reserves the right to adapt its prices proportionally.

2.2 For orders and deliveries made outside Belgium but within the European Union, the provisions laid down by the law on value-added tax will apply.

3. Deliveries

3.1 Delivery and completion times are provided for information purposes only and do not bind KRmatic. A delay does not entitle the client to compensation.

3.2 In the event of delivery by postal service, the client will have 8 days from receipt of the parcel to file a claim in the event of damage caused during transport, subject to proof (photos, explanations). KRmatic reserves the right to refuse claims if the evidence is insufficient.

3.3 Upon delivery, all responsibilities of any kind are automatically transferred to the client.

4. Warranty

4.1 3D prints in the model and decorative categories do not benefit from any warranty.

4.2 3D prints in the functional category are warranted for 6 months in case of breakage or abnormal wear. Operating conditions must have been clearly established beforehand in writing by the client and by KRmatic. The warranty only covers the part manufactured by KRmatic.

4.3 Reproductions of parts considered functional 3D prints do not benefit from the same warranties as the original part provided by the client. It is a geometric reproduction of the part in a material that can undergo certain mechanical stresses depending on the choice made. The client is solely responsible for the use made of the 3D print. KRmatic is not responsible for damages that the 3D print could cause in the use the client makes of it.

4.4 KRmatic reserves the right to refuse a warranty claim if the elements provided are not sufficient.

5. Payment

5.1 KRmatic invoices for amounts under €100.00 incl. VAT are payable before the fulfillment of the order.

5.2 Invoices with an amount greater than or equal to €100.00 incl. VAT are payable within 30 days from the invoice date. KRmatic reserves the right to request a deposit ranging from 30% to 50% depending on the type of order.

5.3 Any contestation of these invoices is only possible by registered letter, within 8 days after the invoice date, clearly mentioning the invoice number and the reasons. Otherwise, the invoice will be considered definitively accepted by the client.

5.4 In the event of late payment of the invoice, the client is automatically liable, without prior notice, for damages and interests of 10% on the invoiced amount. This amount serves as fixed compensation for costs other than loss of interest and legal fees. The client will also be automatically liable, without prior notice, for interest of 10% per year on the invoice amount.

6. Data Protection & Image Rights

6.1 We collect and process personal data communicated by the client or supplier solely for invoicing purposes and project archiving.

6.2 KRmatic reserves the right to photograph printed objects and publish the photos on its website www.krmatic.com or on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), unless otherwise stated in writing by the client or upon signing a non-disclosure agreement.
